The essence of Soulafrodisiac.com is music. What started as a school project in 2008 has gone on to become a pretty viable and important vehicle for me. The networking, the mentoring from journalists that I’ve grown up watching and reading from a distance, the friendships cultivated with magazines and artists, the writing opportunities, business opportunities and collaborations–all of it wouldn’t have come to fruition if it wasn’t for this blog and all of YOU.
