My peoples! The sun was absolutely glorious on the weekend, and just because I am in a good mood today – I come bearing gifts!
Clairy Browne and The Bangin’ Rackettes are heading our way, and Live Nation has decided to give one of my lucky and awesome readers a pair of tickets to check out the soiree. But before I get to that, let me tell you a little bit about these rocking-ass ladies.
They’re funky, freaky, eclectic and lord, can that Clairy Browne deliver a tune with that rugged and dirty voice of hers. These lovely Australian ladies are hitting high notes with their new EP Love Cliques. Some of you may be upon their classic soul sounds from a popular Heineken ad, but trust when I say, that Clairy Browne is a beast vocally and you need to press play right now.

To think the band was brought together by Clairy handpicking individuals to perform at a club one night. It`s campy, but I`m sure the show will be delicious and hit the right spot. Now, Clairy Browne and The Bangin’ Rackettes are heading this way on Saturday, August 16th. I`m sure their video is every indication of what to expect at their live show. According to Clairy, they are all huge film buffs and it tends to reflect in their act. This, I can`t wait to see. Not only that, but they will have Toronto’s own soulstress Tanika Charles aka Mz. Chawls and The Fun Bags opening the soiree. This is going to be live and direct!
