Soulsters, I couldn’t have come around with a better way for you to start your weekend. It’s contest time!
Toronto’s own soul man, producer extraordinaire and BBE artist Slakah the Beatchild is ready to unleash the highly anticipated Soul Movement 2 on you, and you are so not ready. Not only is the new album coming your way, but Slakah is ready to bring the album to you live and direct at his record release event next Thursday at Drake Hotel (tickets are available here). It gets even better – the event sounds will be brought to you by your hosts DJ Soul Child and DJ Sessions, while the lovely and fashionably funky Dezi Dee from Afrodelik will be in the house with her amazing clothing and accessories line. Lastly, Slakah is going to have a few musical guests hit the stage as well. You know what that means – it’s going to be one hell of a shindig, my friends.
You can also be a part of all the album launch excitement over on Twitter with the #Adventurefor2 contest! ”Adventure for 2” is a track from the album Soul Movement 2. When you tweet the hashtag along with the question: What is #adventurefor2? You will receive a congratulatory answer to let you know that you’ve been entered into the contest!
